About Us

Jurist Global  was started in 2012 by our founder Vic Singh, Esq, B.Juris, LLB.  Singh practised law as an Attorney-At-Law, as well as an Advocate of the High Court and Constitutional Court of SA during the Post-Apartheid era. Singh was Honoured by President Nelson Mandela at the Lawyers for Human Rights Conference for his industrious work as a student leader fighting against apartheid and working with the Release Mandela Campaign in the 1980’s where he marched alongside Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Archbishop Desmond Tutu calling for Mandela’s release. After Mandelas release in 1994, Singh was nominated to work at the National Congress of the ANC where Mandela was elected unanimously as President. In April that year Mandela became the first Black President of South Africa after having served 27 years on Robbin Island.

As a trial lawyer in South Africa, Singh conducted more than 300 civil and criminal trials and numerous motions and applications before all levels of courts across South Africa.  It was an exciting time where he witnessed the dismantling of Apartheid legislation and for the first time, was able to challenge the constitutionality of discriminatory legislation in the newly formed Constitutional Court.

After immigrating to Canada in 2001, Singh worked for one of the largest personal injury law firms in Toronto alongside legendary Trial Lawyer, Jack Fireman, QC.  When Jack Fireman started his own boutique personal injury law firm,  Singh helped build the Fireman brand by providing innovative solutions to marketing legal services and client acquisition.

As the CEO of Jurist Global, Singh has helped lawyers in diverse areas of practice, and generated high-quality leads that convert customers into revenue-generating opportunities. He has advised lawyers in Canada, UK and US on the business of law in the digital age and the importance of reputation management.  Jurist Global also provides management advice with a view to increasing revenues.
